Codecasa Shipyards has announced the start of a new “on spec” project, signaling high confidence in the global demand for their 43-meter series. Hull F82 represents the seventh unit of this tried-and-tested displacement platform, built to stay just below the critical 500 GT threshold. Following the success of predecessors like m.y. GIOIA and m.y. BOJI, this new build is a calculated refinement of the shipyard’s most reliable engineering.
A Study in Vertical Geometry
The F82 stands out with its signature vertical bow and clean, rigorous profile. Developed entirely by Codecasa’s in-house technical staff, the yacht utilizes a high-tensile steel hull paired with an aluminum superstructure for optimal stability and durability. This material logic ensures a vessel capable of crossing oceans while providing the “timeless elegance” that has defined the shipyard since 1825.
Transatlantic Autonomy
Performance on the F82 is centered on serious long-range capability. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 “Acert” marine diesel engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of 16 knots. When dialed back to a cruising speed of 11 knots, Hull F82 boasts an impressive 4,000-nautical-mile range. Supported by a 65,000-liter fuel capacity, this vessel is engineered for owners who prioritize the freedom of remote exploration over simple coastal hopping.
Architecture of the Full Beam
The interior layout maximizes the 9-meter beam to create expansive living zones across three decks. The arrangement includes a massive Owner’s Suite on the forward Main Deck, complemented by two double cabins and two twin cabins below. With two spacious salons and fully equipped service areas for a crew of nine, the F82 addresses the needs of multi-generational families who demand both privacy and social connection.
Customization and Delivery
Scheduled for a Spring 2028 delivery, Hull F82 currently offers a unique opportunity for early acquisition. Because construction is in the early stages, a prospective owner can still extensively customize the fabrics, finishes, and specific detailing of the guest and owner areas. This allows for a bespoke interior styling that reflects a personal vision, all while benefiting from a proven, high-performance hull design.
