The Launch of a New Flagship

The global megayacht market consistently demands a balance of high-end aesthetics and serious mechanical capability. ISA Yachts, a prominent brand operating under the Palumbo Superyachts umbrella, has officially launched the new ISA Gran Turismo 67m model, named Sea Raider X. Unveiled during a dedicated ceremony in Ancona, this 67-metre vessel now serves as the flagship of the Gran Turismo fleet. The build spreads across four decks, delivering a massive structural footprint engineered entirely in-house by the shipyard’s naval architects.

Aggressive Chromatic Architecture

The exterior profile, designed by Vallicelli Design Studio, immediately distinguishes itself through stark color contrasts. The yacht features a black-painted steel hull paired with a silver aluminum superstructure, giving it an undeniable presence on the water. The architecture utilizes a specific “frame” element that connects the wheelhouse hardtop directly to the aft bulwark of the main deck. This geometric design creates a highly dynamic silhouette that perfectly recalls the sporty, performance-focused aesthetic of the broader Gran Turismo line.

Redefining the Aft Deck

The primary innovations on the Sea Raider X are concentrated heavily on the main deck’s aft sections. Surrounding a 6.5-metre panoramic swimming pool is a massive lounge area designed to connect guests directly to the waterline. The builder incorporated two opening side platforms that dramatically increase the walkable surface area. Once deployed, integrated staircases guide guests directly down to the aft platform and the lower beach club, creating a cohesive, multi-level entertainment zone.

Expanding the Beach Club Logistics

Below deck, the logistical execution of the beach club provides maximum utility. The garage houses a main tender measuring over 7.5 metres, which is launched efficiently via a side hatch. Once the tender clears the hold, the entire covered aft area transforms into a full-beam space. This effectively doubles the size of the beach club, which comes fully equipped with a hammam, a dedicated bar, and a fitness area. The interior execution, handled by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, ensures that the transition between these technical spaces and guest areas is flawlessly finished.

Accommodations and Future Builds

To handle long-range cruising or extended charter operations, the Sea Raider X accommodates up to 14 guests across 7 dedicated cabins. The owner’s suite occupies the prime forward position on the main deck, securing maximum privacy and ocean views. A crew of 13, plus the captain, manages the vessel from 8 cabins. While this 67-metre build currently commands the fleet, ISA Yachts continues to push production limits, with a massive 100-metre superyacht already under construction, preparing to take the flagship title.
