Establishing the Superyacht Division

Transitioning into the 30 to 50-metre market requires a highly structured corporate approach rather than simple hull modifications. Bellini Yacht officially enters the superyacht segment with the launch of its dedicated Superyacht Division and the subsequent introduction of the Eternal 36. CEO Battista Bellini confirms this expansion represents a calculated strategy to translate the brand’s established manufacturing culture onto a much larger physical platform. To execute this, the shipyard recruited industry veteran Francesco Frediani to direct the division, supported directly by Nicola Yacht Consulting to manage business development and strict project execution.

Steel and Aluminium Architecture

Moving away from traditional fibreglass construction dictates a complete shift in naval architecture. Bellini Yacht contracted Hydro Tec to execute the marine engineering for the Eternal 36. The 36.13-metre custom explorer features a mixed-material construction, utilizing a heavy steel hull paired with an aluminium superstructure. Hydro Tec founder Sergio Cutolo noted that validating this specific mixed-material structure required extensive CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis to strictly optimize weight distribution, lower the center of gravity, and maximize acoustic comfort throughout the vessel.

Explorer Capabilities and RINA Classification

Physical aesthetics mean little without the mechanical endurance to support ocean-going itineraries. The Eternal 36 is built to exact RINA classification standards and complies fully with the Red Ensign Group Yacht Code. This rigorous engineering allows the hull to achieve a maximum speed of 13.5 knots and a standard cruising speed of 12 knots. When throttled back to an economical 10 knots, the platform delivers a transoceanic range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles, solidifying its status as an authentic long-range explorer.

Interior Layout and Beach Club Logistics

Despite its heavy-duty explorer capabilities, the vessel prioritizes continuous interaction with the marine environment. The exterior layout features an expansive beach club incorporating an integrated pool and a dedicated tender garage. Moving inside, the living quarters rely heavily on continuous spatial flow. Design studio M²Atelier executed the interior concept, utilizing rounded volumes, smoked oak, and pale travertine to soften the internal architecture. The studio focused on integrating acoustics and lighting almost invisibly into the structural bulkheads, allowing the tactile materials to define the living experience.

A Scalable Future Blueprint

The Eternal 36 operates as more than just a single custom build; it serves as the direct technical and aesthetic foundation for the entire Bellini Superyacht range. By combining Hydro Tec’s heavy engineering with a highly rational project architecture, the shipyard has established a scalable platform. This calculated approach ensures future builds within the 30 to 50-metre category will maintain the identical structural integrity, efficiency, and design balance demonstrated on the inaugural 36-metre model.
