Debuting at Monaco

Rossinavi officially presented M/Y HEED to the superyacht market during the Monaco Yacht Show. Operating as a 53-metre full-custom build, the vessel utilizes a full-aluminium construction. The Italian shipyard developed the platform through a direct dialogue with the owner, guided by Owner’s Representative Matty Zadnikar of SeaNet SuperYachts, who managed the overall design and construction phases. The resulting yacht balances generous physical volume with a heavily connected exterior layout.

Sub-500 GT Architecture

Maintaining a sharp aesthetic profile while staying under the 500 GT threshold requires strict architectural planning. Alberto Mancini Yacht Design executed the exterior styling, applying clean lines and a metallic grey hull finish to highlight the vessel’s sculpted geometry. This specific color selection emphasizes the interaction between light and shadow across the surfaces throughout the day. The fast-displacement hull provides the necessary hydrodynamic efficiency while supporting a massive aft beach club equipped with a pool and fold-down side platforms that expand the usable space directly at the waterline.

The Dedicated Owner’s Deck

Mancini utilized the 499 GT volume to alter traditional deck logistics. The design relocates the owner’s suite forward on the upper deck, creating a highly private living zone in direct dialogue with the sea. This space features an exclusive panoramic outdoor area and a forward deck pool engineered specifically for swimming against the current. To further elevate the vantage point, the naval architects included an Observation Deck functioning as a secluded location for guests to experience the surrounding environment.

Organic Interior Forms

Achille Salvagni Architetti structured the interior layout by avoiding rigid, conventional profiles. The internal geometry utilizes bending walls, undulating ceilings, and furniture shaped like pebbles and shells. The material palette relies on brushed, bleached wengé floors, butter-coloured parchment, and dark eucalyptus finished to a 100-gloss polish. On the main deck, Salvagni deliberately separated the dining and living areas. The dining room connects to a starboard fold-down balcony, while the main saloon features expansive glazing to pull natural light into the curved seating arrangements.

Battery Integration and Hotel Mode

Heavy mechanical operations often compromise the onboard experience through mechanical vibration and exhaust. Rossinavi mitigates this physical friction by outfitting HEED with a dedicated onboard battery system. This electrical architecture allows the 53-metre yacht to remain at anchor with the primary generators completely switched off. Operating in this hotel mode reduces localized noise and mechanical vibration while ensuring zero local emissions, directly supporting the builder’s push toward sustainable marine technology.
